Big Ice Services was called into action to help get a 65 ton excavator and 35,000 Tons of Rock across a fast moving river in Central Ontario on the Mattagami River just North of Timmins. Starting out as open water Jan 17 and using our proprietary equipment and skills, had the river froze over, and over the next few weeks the ice thickened to 60".  Neilson was able to drill, blast, excavate and haul all the rock and dirt they required with zero ice failures. 

We were very successful in completing this ice project with the extremely warm winter.
